About LIVE BETTER
LIVE BETTER is a registered charitable trust established in 2019, dedicated to supporting marginalized individuals across our communities.
We are committed to providing inclusive, culturally responsive services—ensuring everyone receives the support they need, without discrimination based on cultural or linguistic differences.
History of Live Better
Live Better began its journey in 2019 by fundraising and uniting migrant communities in Hamilton to develop grassroots support groups and organize a variety of community activities. Small groups met regularly to identify needs and achieve shared goals. These efforts led to the official incorporation of Live Better as a charitable trust in 2021.
We offer a wide range of recreational, arts, sports, cultural, and educational programs, and we actively welcome feedback and suggestions from our community. Today, Live Better proudly serves over 2,000 members from diverse multicultural backgrounds.
In 2023, our name was changed to Live Better New Zealand to more clearly reflect the positive impact and inclusive nature of the services we provide.

Our Mission
Live Better began fundraising in 2019, bringing together Hamilton migrant members of the community to develop community support groups and organise a range of activities. They formed small groups and met monthly to achieve their goals. These efforts led to its incorporation as a charitable trust in 2021.
We offer a variety of recreational activities, arts and cultural programs, counselling services and support groups, run educational programs and encourage feedback and suggestions from the community. Our community currently has over 2000 members from multicultural backgrounds. Live Better members enjoy discounted activities and free children's and youth programmes. In 2023 the name was changed to Live Better Kcentre to inform more people about the benefits of the services provided.
We aim to be recognized as a Good Supporter of children/young people from multicultural backgrounds,
people with disabilities, single parents and migrants to New Zealand to connect, engage and feel a sense of belonging through arts, craft, science, sport, food and recreational activities.
